Handed over by Muhammad Qhodari, Head of Government Communications Agency, the award was accepted by Sigit Wijatmoko as Assistant for Jakarta Government Secretary on behalf of Governor Pramono Anung.

Sigit described the win as a testament to Jakarta’s strategic ability to tap into financial sources and fortify its position as a thriving urban economic hub.

He went on to say that industry and services are the backbones of the city’s growth. In fact, Jakarta has been buzzing with festivals lately as it gears up for its 500-year milestone in 2027.

"This festival-driven strategy solidifies our vision to transform Jakarta into Indonesia’s economic powerhouse and a world-class global hub," he stated.

Beyond boosting the city’s image, Sigit highlighted the massive economic ripple effect of these events. The proof is in the numbers—festivals organized between December and March alone injected over Rp 60 trillion into the economy.

"This accolade fuels our drive for continuous transformation. It ensures our administration runs at its best while deepening the trust the public places in us," he added.

"On behalf of Governor Pramono Anung, a very happy 27th anniversary to Warta Kota! We are thrilled to receive this award and deeply appreciate the honor," he concluded.

Highlighting the synergy between communication and civic trust, Muhammad Qhodari, Head of the Government Communications Agency, praised Warta Kota for bringing regional leaders together to champion public trust for its 27th anniversary.

"My heartiest congratulations to all the winners! You haven’t just mastered good governance—you’ve mastered the art of communicating it. May your success serve as a blueprint for the rest of Indonesia," he asserted.

Dahlan Dahi, CEO of Tribun Network, emphasized that media should be more than just a watchdog—it should be a catalyst for progress.

"Media doesn’t just balance the narrative; it inspires through recognition," he noted.

To that end, awards were bestowed upon local authorities in the Greater Jakarta and Banten regions, alongside BUMNs and BUMDs, for showcasing leadership best practices that truly resonate with the public.

He emphasized that the criteria extend past innovation and funding to include sustainability and community impact.

"We want to highlight best practices that can be a model and a laboratory for regional growth and welfare. I hope these awards benefit us all in our shared progress," he stated.
